Business Visitor Visa


It is a type of Canada Temporary Visitor Visa, and this type of application is applicable to business people visiting Canada for business visit activities, i.e. the person concerned is going to Canada for business reasons to engage in field visits or negotiations for investment, trade, conference, exhibition, labor services, etc. In addition to meeting the basic requirements for a temporary visitor visa and providing the documents required for a visitor visa, applicants for a Canada business visa are also required to provide the following specific documents.




Canada Business Visit Visa Documents List


1. Provide a letter of invitation from the Canadian party. The letter of invitation must be issued by the Canadian company with which the applicant will have a direct business relationship. This does not include a third party who is solely responsible for arranging and facilitating the business meeting. The letter of invitation must include all of the following


a) The full name, title, company address, contact telephone and fax numbers of the inviter.


b) The names and titles of all members of the applicant group and the names of their employers.


c) A brief statement of the original reason for the invitation and a detailed description of the business or trade situation to be conducted.


d) The expected start and end dates of the visit, and a complete schedule.


e) an indication of who will cover all expenses incurred during the visit; and


f) If there have been contracts and/or agreements between the Canadian inviter and the Chinese company, a copy of the contract and/or agreement, and proof of trade between the two parties.




2. For his part, the applicant must also provide proof of assets that can reasonably be used to prove that his visit to Canada is genuine and without any ill intent. (e.g., certificate of incorporation, by-laws, corporate tax documents, sales contracts, balance sheets, company brochures, etc.).




3. Applicants holding diplomatic, service and official ordinary passports to provide a note issued by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a group basis.




4. For applicants holding private passports, provide a letter of leave/absence from the employer on the letterhead of the organization, certifying that the visit to Canada is for the purpose mentioned in the invitation letter and that approval has been granted. The letter must include the name, address, telephone and fax numbers of the employer in Chinese, as well as the applicant's position, salary amount and starting date of employment.




5. Complete the "Additional Information for Business Group" form.
